I'll never understand why some people enjoy purposefully insulting large sections of the population here. If your whole purpose on the board is to be ascerbic (or downright mean) to everyone that doesn't agree with you, why even come?

I don't care if it's nice...for him. It's still not nice, and the only reason he wasn't commenting on my parentage is because I don't watch DS9. But I'm sure you can make the connection that he was effectively saying that anyone who does watch DS9 is inbred. What's the point?

And wouldn't that be considered a troll?

I like TOS first and DS9 second. But then I grew up on TOS; saw most of it in the original run.

Hmmm, I'll have to ask my mom/aunt and dad/uncle if they're related.

Lately, I've found myself switching preference for my two favorite Treks (TOS and DS9). Now I'd say I'm a TOS guy, but I still love DS9. And yes, I AM able to like it despite my parents not being siblings.

And no, because I got so tired of them exploring the politics and religion of Bajor while the wormhole, that was right next door, was practically never explored.

DS9 was "exploring the politics and religion of Bajor" through the characters. who "were great", then so was DS9.
