Q & A is out

We have two Borders stores in town. One (Maple St) has not yet received their shipment. The other (Dodge St) received their shipment on the 19th. They've confirmed this. But they cannot find the books. They may be in a box, on a pallet, or have disappeared. They received 8, but don't know where they are. I asked them to check, while standing with the store manager, and they were unable to find any.

There are two Narns & Noble stores in the area. Both (Oak View and Dodge St) said they "might" have copies in stock, and I could come in and check.

Still on the hunt. lol

You and me both. Not a copy to be found out by me on Long Island. I may have to go into NYC proper to get it.

I checked the Borders site and my local stores don't have it yet, but I still haven't called B&N yet. Hopefully this time if they don't have it they'll let me order it, because last time I called the guy didn't mention pre-orders and I forgot to ask.

Got it.

I've only just now gotten around to reading Vulcan's Soul 2: Exiles in paperback. If I didn't read it now, I wouldn't read it for months and details of the first one were already slipping.

I'll start Resistance as soon as I'm done with Exiles.

LOL. What's funny is I posted over under The Sky's the Limit and I was like I will be looking for that book but I found Q&A instead. It seems that only B&N, and its sister store B Dalton are the only ones that have it out this week. I got my copy and read the afterword from KRAD. I have to say that was a good read. I want to read the book but I have to finish a few others first.

My local Borders has it, but I'm gonna wait for Barnes & Noble to get it so I can use my gift card my sister gave me. I'm on their waiting list so now I just need to wait for them to call me back.

^
That's a bit weird Ronald. I have never seen them there. Usually when a new Trek book is out it's up on the 2nd floor. Sometimes it's with New paperbacks when you walk in but stores are always changing their layouts I suppose..

Borders is alot closer. They opened one up by Madison Square Garden.

Just finished Resistance last night. So I'm now ready for Q&A. I have it on reserve from a local Borders. I'll get it either Today, Sunday, or Monday.

Well, about 3 or 4 hours after I called B&N they called back to tell me they got it, so I should have it at least by the end of the weekend. Then I just need to finish the ATT books, (since most people haven't been real thrilled with them I was just gonna skip DIW and Resistance. Unless I decide I want to read Resistance while/after reading Q&A)

Just got back from a trip to Barnes and Noble. Picked up Q&a, as well as Twist of Faith, as I like the idea of collecting the DS9-R in this format. I'll be diving into Q&A tonight. Looking forward to reading it. :)

Looks like KRAD will be getting alot of money from me. I went to pick up Q&A from B&N and since I had a 25 gift card I also picked up[/i] Supernatural: Nevermore[, and A Time For War, A Time For Peace.
I'm gonna wait till I finish the ATT books before I read Q&A though. :klingon:

Picked it up yesterday evening and so far I'm 7 chapters in or thereabouts.

I really like the inclusion of multiple series characters - It continues to make the Star Trek Universe one big playground and not just a few small slightly interconnected parks.

Yeah, that was one of the first things I noticed when I was flipping through. I'm guessing from the number of characters included and how spread out they are that whatever is happening, it deffinitely has a pretty big impact on the galaxy at large.

Minor spoiler

Is the stuff with Donatra before or after Articles of the Federation?
