Every time I go to a wedding, I keeping hoping for some old timey slow dance music from the 1930s-40s, Glen Miller, "Moonlight Becomes You," etc. (I've been a huge fan of "Moonlight Becomes You" ever since I saw it in the Dixon Hill holodeck scene in Star Trek: First Contact.)
I call it "Johnny's shippin' out to fight the Gerrys" music.
Sadly, most modern wedding DJs I've met have absolutely no experience in this era of music.
