I just got wind of this interesting-looking film by Kenyan filmmaker Wanuri Kahiu.

IMO, it takes from THX-1138; and I do wonder if the filmmaker sites that film as one of her inspirations....

Actually, just a few things:

*There seems to be underground inhabitants who are all bald; and kept in order by way of 'medicine.'

*As aforementioned, they are underground, and one who doesn't want to conform seems to escape that underground city.

Some other tidbits I thought was interesting:

The short was produced by Simon Hanson who also produced the short that was expanded into District 9. (I'm personally hoping that 'lightening will strike twice')...
