My sister-in-law introduced me to this series. It is so cute! I couldn't stop laughing when I saw the zombie one. Anyway, they're going to do a CGI film now.

Yes! I love the show! I've only seen a couple of episodes, but as a huge guinea pig fan this show is practically MADE for me. It's so adorable!

I didn't really think about piggies until my brother met his now-wife. She had two before she met him (others previously) and got two more when they were dating.

Until then, the only guinea pig I'd heard of was Hootie, the class piggy in Ann M. Martin's Babysitter's Little Sister books.

Pet guinea pigs, in case anyone else reading this gets confused.

Combining guinea pigs with cars for this series...how did they ever think of that?

Yeah, piggies aren't really represented much in mainstream media (which is probably one reason why a lot of people still confuse them with hamsters)... I can only think of Norman the guinea pig in The Secret Life Of Pets and that rather weird G-Force movie where piggies were like little James Bond agents. (Oh and the terrible guinea pig scene in House Of Cards but OMG.) I think Pui Pui Molcar is the only newer show that has piggies as the main focus. (Even if they're also cars, lol.) What I really love is that the sounds they make are authentic guinea pig sounds. I have no idea how they thought of the combo of guinea pigs and cars, but it's hilariously weird. And in this case super cute!
