So, when you went on a Pub Crawl you were actually going on a ‘Star Trek’.
In the ‘Star Trek’ TV Series, the Captain of the Star Ship Enterprise was:
James T Kirk.
James’ middle name was Tiberius as in the Roman Emperor.
‘Breaking the Spell’ gives:
King James (Royalty), Tiberius (Roman Empire), Kirk (Scottish Church, Religion).
Oddly, King James I of England and VI of Scotland introduced a ‘Book of Sports’ in 1618 promoting the drinking of ‘Church Ales’ on Sundays.
Tiberius was a Roman Emperor and Kirk is Scottish for Church.
Are Religion, Royalty and the Roman Empire the real architects behind modern British Pub Culture?
i.e. The true captains of this Star Ship Enterprise.
The creators of Star Trek were pretty smart cookies – did they include some humour into their creation?
