A new flag has been proposed for Antarctica. It is called the True South. It has already been flying across the frozen continent since 2020.

I like it. Simple enough for a child to draw yet effective and descriptive in representing the continent. I hope it continues to catch on.

If it was used to show the comraderie between all the scientic bases, that's nice. I don't see much point in it but it looks cool. It's a good way to remind people of all the work and research that goes on.

The EU flag ? But not all European countries are in the EU though. The African Union has a flag, i believe.

Trivia: The "EU flag" was first (and still is) the flag of the "Council of Europe", a different organisation that includes many countries not in the EU including Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the like. The only European countries not in it is Belarus and Kosovo (though many still don't recognise that country).
