Galaxy class. It's got holodecks, comfortable seats, and it's nice and roomy. Plus, you get two ships for the price of one. What's not to like?

Sovereign class, or Galaxy class. The ultimate blend between combat-readiness and comfort. Defiant-class would be nice, but no holodecks and cramped quarters to boot. Intrepid-class? No thanks, just a science-oriented vessel with no teeth.

An Excelsior class in the TNG era. They seemed to be the ubiquitous work horses of the fleet with an "over worked, under paid" feeling to them. I like that feeling. Your ship may not be the newest or most advanced like those fancy Galaxies but she gets the job done.

Defiant-class for me. I don't care about science personally-- I would love for my colleagues to learn the new stuff and I apply it. I get the cloak, the small size, the pockets bulging with weapons, no science to encumber me, and an attitude to match!
