Prometheus: Ridley Scott returns to Sci-Fi

Well to be fair, the other Alien movies already took that grungy, industrial look and ran it into the ground. I can't really blame Ridley for wanting to go in a slightly different visual direction for this movie.

For me, as long as he lets the story unfold in the same eerie, naturalistic way as before, it shouldn't really matter what the visual style is.

^Also, it's probably worth remembering that the non-work related crew areas of the Nostromo (freezer room, mess/lounge) pretty much had the same all white and clinical 2001 sort of look.

No it's not worth remembering, because it's always going to be ignored for the sake of NERDRAGE.

The upper decks of the Nostromo and the Narcissus are quite junky and cluttered. Both with technology and personal affects of the crew. That's not really what I was referring to though. Their uniforms are crinckled and some have visible sweat stains. What we've seen so far is pretty crisp and tidy. Anywho, there's no rage here. I look forward to seeing this film. Just hope it's good.

The aliens are going to find the holy grail and Indiana Jones must stop them!

Why can't they make Blade Runner and Alien take place in the same universe. Two different creators and properties? They already tied Aliens into Predator which doesn't make much sense. Obviously they are time travellors.

The AVP movies aren't really considered canon to the serious Alien or Predator movies.
