I had to pause and count. lolI hate the Star Trek: Shipname formula. It's not about the space ships, it's about the people.
Only 4 of 12 use the formula.

Now add in about a dozen fan films using it and when Discovery was announced I was thinking it was a bad ans generic naming choice.I had to pause and count. lol

I love the ship design. Perfect fit to the Trek universe.
I was very disappointed in the name.
I really wanted the name of the show and the name of the ship to be synced.
For some of us, it's about the Star Ships and Star Bases =D, and the people just happen to be there.I hate the Star Trek: Shipname formula. It's not about the space ships, it's about the people.
Same. Ships are pretty but not characters. I'll be more interested in the Protostar after seeing the characters interact with it.I hate the Star Trek: Shipname formula. It's not about the space ships, it's about the people.
I'd even argue that at this point they don't all have to have Star Trek in the title. Picard, for example.I hate the Star Trek: Shipname formula. It's not about the space ships, it's about the people.
And while we all raged about it at the time, in retrospect I see nothing wrong with it. No one is going to think a show called Enterprise is anything other than a Star Trek spinoff. Same with Picard. Now Prodigy obviously needs the Star Trek name since its specific title isn't a familiar name from the franchise.ENT went two whole seasons without "Star Trek" in the title and that was a majority of its episodes.
It can get somewhat redundant. Imagine if the superhero movies did it and they were all called things like Justice League: Aquaman or Avengers: Black Widow.Honestly, I’ve always felt that wasn’t a good move…If it’s Star Trek why avoid calling it Star Trek?
I find vans to be downright luxurious. Not exactly very comfy or fun to live in.
What size of van are you referring to?I find vans to be downright luxurious.
ah, yes, I’ve never been a fan of Faith of the Hearth, but at least it was a singable, somewhat inspiring, ballad , the uptempo version was awful.I preferred when it was just called "Enterprise" and had the slower-tempo theme song.
I hate the Star Trek: Shipname formula. It's not about the space ships, it's about the people.
It's more straightforward than the Star Trek: Marketing Tagline formula.
