Can anyone confirm if when Prodigy airs on Nickelodeon, if the episodes are cut/edited for time?
I'm in Canada and purchased Prodigy S2 on itunes, and it's seems to be the Nickelodeon "cut". I see the " you are watching Nickelodeon " intro. And the opening and closing themes are clearly shortened/sped up which is common for shows that air on cable/syndication. I also see numerous quick cuts to black durring each episode- likely signaling where the commercials would normally be inserted .
Trying to figure out if I purchased an edited copy of Prodigy. They mainly run 21 or 22 minutes on itunes. ( season 2)
If I did, I may ask Apple for a refund and wait for the blurays. My ability to get a refund is likely time sensitive so if anyone can help me confirm ASAP, it would be greatly appreciated.
I'm unable to compare what I have with what Netflix has since I'm in Canada. If it's only the credits edited, ( and perhaps some quick cuts to black added that was meant for the Nickelodeon ad inserts) then it's no biggie for me. Mainly concerned with dialog and story elements being cut
