This week saw Private Eyes start airing on Global TV in Canada. I'm not sure if this show is going to be broadcast in other countries, though.

And yes, that is a cover of a certain Hall and Oates song playing in the background...

...and they play the original in the first episode, too!

Thanks for the heads up. I decided to find it and watch it.

I don't like generic procedurals but I like Jason Priestley. He proved that he had comedic talent with his other show Call Me Fitz which was raunchy and hilarious, so I went in with some good expectations that were met. I also like Cindy Sampson. Saw her on Supernatural. She's mesmerizing and plays the straight woman well. I also got a kick out of her Kim Kardashian impression.

And thanks for posting that Hall & Oates song. It's fantastic. Been listening to it. I wish they had used that instead of a cover. But I understand. The original might have been too expensive.

Perhaps they could do a spinoff set in the early 80s, which could use the original song in its opening credits?

For the most part, the various pieces of the show seem to be settling more comfortably together in episode 2. But it might take a while to get used to seeing Clé Bennett act as someone other than Harris from Heroes Reborn...
