Prius-Class Shuttlecraft

Sweet!!

Even Toyota is taking notice :)

Maybe they'll start making Trek Car Decals :)

In the interests of security, the perfect presentation, and yet another trophy, and in keeping with the recreation clause of the Zhang Heng's mission I created the following Okudagram, attached to magnet sheet to be applied in strategic places on the Zhang Heng.

I think I am getting the hang of this.

Saw you got mention in Geek Monthly magazine (it's the issue with Wall-E on the cover)! Congrats.

After receiving clearance from the Bureau of Temporal Investigation, I have assembled and installed a Flux Capacitor. When I get this baby up to 88 MPG, you are gonna see some serious $#!+ !!!.

It also explains how I got a number of other alien artifacts into the shuttle: R2D2, WALL-E, Robby, sonic screwdriver, HAL 9000, etc.

One does wonder if that 88mph is intentional or not...

Side note: A car enthusiast tells me that the DeLorean that Dr. Brown used, in fact, could not go 88 miles per hour. In spite of its sleek looks, the DL had a V6 engine without the power to match the appearance.

My Prius will go 88 MPH. Stopping it is another issue . . .

Yeah they have a hard time dropping out of warp in a timely and controlled fashion. Then disposal of spent energy cells are costly.

Your car enthusiast friend is incorrect. While the V6 engine does not put the Delorean into supercar territory, it could indeed reach well above 88mph. (Back in the day, "Road and Track" magazine got a top speed of 105mph out of a production car)

And I still think you are killing the resale value of your car.

Explain me how. I could remove everything from the car, except the stereo system in a day, and have it returned to boring plain vanilla.

The phasers are attached to a pair of mirror housing covers that snap right off. I actually only put them on for shows.

I think it's cute. I mean, the Prius already looks like a shuttlecraft even without the Star Trek graphics. Or a doorstop on wheels.

Not exactly what I'd call a chick magnet, though.
