Prius 3rd Generation released

I was kind of hoping for more dramatic changes.

And now... Toyota introduced the 3rd Generation Prius.

I think the front end is attractive.

The inside looks nice. Features look cool, like LED headlights and radar accident prevention.

However, the overall styling still reminds me of a slice of cheese (especially the back end).

Hideous looking car. Just awful.

You'd have to be a drooling moron to purchase a car based on appearance. Hmmm....makes sense actually.

And it was the first car I drove at like 14 or so. Had that little catalyst maintenance pop up over the odometer after a certain number of miles.

Wow. It's actually more hideous then the current version. Do kinda like the idea of the touch tracer thing though.

No when I buy a new car, it will have a V8. Prius is not my deal.

LED headlights
I really don't know what it is about them (maybe the wavelength?), but I can't stand LED lights. If someone shines one at me, it's instant headache. Even if I'm just looking at the light it makes, it will give me a headache before long. I know that LED lights consume less energy, but I'd have to insist on an incandescent bulb.

I agree. The blueish light from the LED bulbs is so annoying.

I like LED lights in flashlights. The majority of my EDCs are LED.

Not sure how well they will work in a car though. Would need a lot of heat sinking to produce enough light for a car I would think.
