Michael and Lincoln come to blows over Scylla as Christina sets the wheels in motion for her plan. Meanwhile, Sara recieves life-changing news. T-Bag arrives at the Indian Embassy. The General becomes increasingly paranoid

Wow nobody's watching anymore? I just want to see who lives and dies in the series finale. My guess is T-Bag and Linc die, Self dies before the final ep, Mommy dearest and The General kill each other, Michael & Sarah live happily ever after, Mahone unexpectedly lives.

What about Sucre? His farewell scene was underwhelming, and he's still in the credits...i just hope he doesn't get shot! It'd be the third time in what, a year? A few months?

I missed what (if anything) happened to Susan B Anthony...

Wow I forgot all about Gretchen. I'm kinda pissed they went five months between episodes, I really forgot things and the show lost its momentum. I think this is the first time I haven't been really excited about this show, but I obviously want to see how it ends. I'm not really into this Evil Mommie vs. The General bit.

Gretchen was wounded and presumably is in prison - right? Maybe they can do that women-in-prison spinoff after all. ;)

I believe that is the plan. IMDB lists the series "Prison Break: The Gretchen Morgan Files" as being in production.

Yknow, Gretchen as the bull-dyke-in-chief is a tempting thought...sews up the male audience that Fox is always chasing. :rommie:

Too sleazy, even by Fox standards?

I just don't think she's that interesting of a character. I wouldn't be interested in a spin-off with her in it. Unless... Some other PB characters return, but even then I think that that would be pretty weak.

As for this episode, I liked it, especially with Linc & crew actually saving Michale's life and sort of getting the upper hand on him. Although it would have been better if Mike called them and told them what he had learned from the blackberry. I just don't buy them working against each other like they are doing now. Not when their lives are at stake.

I'm assuming the Gretchen spin-off is a joke, right? This show is only getting 3 million viewers, they're never going to do a spin-off now.

Nope.

Maybe Fox is hoping that the obvious "promises" of a womens prison series is just too good to pass up. ;)

That's weird. They have a cast list including bit characters which means they already filmed it. Now the wikipedia page says they filmed an additional two episodes going straight to DVD, but that the series finale does air. So does this mean they filmed an extra two episodes and those are the Gretchen spin-off? How many people are going to pay to see that?

There is a bit of a mix-up going on in the reporting on most websites (IMDB included).

The latest news I've seen, coming from interviews with the cast, is that they already had the ending of season 4 written before the announcement that the show was canceled. Since the ending was already written and everyone liked it, and it served as a pretty good ending to the series anyways, they decided to keep it/film it as is. But FOX, who are usually awful about this sort of thing but not this time for some reason, said they would give them 2 bonus/extra episodes to wrap up all the extra lose ends left after the season 4 conclusion. So, that is what is being reported on IMDB as being a different series, it really is just those 2 bonus episodes that will help end the series. And, yes, they will be aired on TV, same timeslot as PB is in right now right after season 4 ends (in fact they will probably just air them as the new ending of season 4, rather then advertise them something different.)

That said, there has also separate talk of doing a Prison Break spin-off series for a couple of years now. Some of those ideas, will most likely end up in these 2 bonus episodes (woman's prison, etc...), but that doesn't mean the spin-off won't happen, it just seems very unlikely. Last I heard, I couple of weeks back, Watch with Kristen said it wasn't yet 100% completely dead.

Here's a description:

03/06 - The two bonus episodes are titled "The Old Ball and Chain" and "Free," and they take place a couple of days after the events of the season finale. A studio source tells us exclusively that they're "a self-contained Prison Break adventure in which Michael faces the most challenging break ever." And yes, Gretchen is involved, but so is the rest of the Prison Break cast you know and love. Source: Kristin on E!Online

Killing Linc would be pretty bad, since the show was originally about getting him out of prison. You can't have the ending be "You wasted a bunch of people's lives just to save someone who dies anyway"!

Yeah I remember hearing about the "Cherry Hill" women's prison spin-off right before the strike happened, which subsequently killed that idea (along with PBK's declining ratings). So the May 15th two hour season finale isn't actually the season finale? Or is that the extra two episodes?

This episode started off a bit 'Meh' but got better as it went on. Interesting twist with T-Bag at the end, just as I was thinking that they had let him get too soft and nice. Also an interesting twist with the VS character - I was beginning to feel sorry for him, but the actor gave a nice subtle smirk to let us know he's no innocent.

It still doesn't feel very Prison Break-ish and the flashbacks to S1 reminded me of how much better it was back then. Still, some good lines (Airport employee: 'You could go to prison for this' Michael: 'Which one?') and it's all shaping up nicely for the finale. I'll certainly stick with it to the end and I'm also sure to tune into the extra eps/ telemovie.

Robert Knepper's in the cast list?

T-Bag gets a sex change operation (involving Gretchen weilding a rusty pen knife) and ends up in the women's prison! Ratings GOLD! :rommie:

Sadly IMDB is infamous for leaving info on stillborn shows on their site.

I'm still bitter about that not-nihilistic-enough BSG ending and want PB to take up the slack.
