Printing error in The Good That Men Do?

You might be able to take it back to the bookstore where you purchased it and exchange it for a non-glitched copy.
"The Good That Men Do" 2nd Edition - Defective?
So I finally got around to ordering a copy of "The Good That Men Do" because, even though I'm not much of an Enterprise fan, the story is supposed to be great and set right one of the great wrongs in Trek history.
I got my copy the other week, and began reading it. In the middle of the attack by Orion's on the Aenar, when Shran is at the wedding-esque ceramony, I turn the page... and it's blank. OK, so, one page, right? I can cope. I can skip ahead 1 page. But then I find another page is blank. And another. And another. All in all about 2 dozen blank pages over the course of the next 50 or so are totally blank. No text at all. The one side will have text, the other will not.
So I exchanged it through Amazon. Got the replacement today. And guess what? Same problem.
I checked the front of both books, and they both say Printed March 2007, then 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 - meaning this must be printing 2, 2nd edition.
Anyone else have a 2nd edition of the novel that can confirm this problem? I mean, 2 novels might be coincedence after all.
Going to go on e-Bay and see if I can find a copy with confirmed print. If anyone has a copy in good condition they want to get rid off, let me know.

It would be worth checking to see if it's the entire print run or just a bad batch that Amazon got hold of. Try going to a brick-and-mortar store in your area (especially useful if you're in a different area from where Amazon is headquartered), and see if they have a 2nd edition print, and take a look at it.
And you may not even have to go on eBay to get your replacement. You may also want to check the used book stores in your area...I know that in my city, I could almost certainly get hold of a copy of that book if I wanted one.

I forget which Trek novel it was, but once several years ago, as I read through the book, it suddenly switched fonts and started talking about get-rich-quick schemes and went like this for 50 or so pages. The text of the Trek novel was missing in this area. I found it quite funny, as it reminded me of the time Quark hacked the station computer to put advertisements in it. I wonder if that happened to anyone else?

Actually, the pages aren't blank by mistake. It's a very avant-garde writing approach to visual timing. The blank pages are there to elongate time, induce pacing, and evoke various emotions in the reader before the story continues and ... then ... um ...

Seriously, though, be thankful this didn't happen to you on a plane. When it was the only book you had with you. And you'd bought it at the London airport, so it wasn't real likely you'd be able to get back there for an exchange, seeing as you lived in New York at the time.
That wasn't a Trek book. But it still sucked.
