The character's name is Jenny, Lucy is the actress' name. And she is returning, as indicated in the part of the article I quoted in my previous post.

He is referring to the *1st season* character.

Then why did he do the double name with the slash, if he only meant 'Claudia'?

The Lucy Brown character named Claudia as opposed to the Lucy Brown character named Jenny. Lucy/Claudia as opposed to Lucy/Jenny. It's an unusual usage, but a comprehensible one.

That was my reaction as well. I didnt even know this series existed until i read that Siddig was gonna join. So i checked it out and i've been hooked ever since.

That "other than Sarah Page" is the problem. Laila Rouass is gorgeous, and it's a shame to see her character dropped when she barely had any development. (Which is another of the third season's many failings. She was brought in as a mythology expert to pursue new ways of tracking down anomalies, and then that was practically never mentioned again except in the dragon episode.)
