It might take away from the ballsy move of killing him though, but it's sci-fi, so anything's possible

It wasn't the greatest show, but much more enjoyable than, say, late Sliders, and the graphics were usually pretty cool. And I'm pleased it'll get a wrap.

Pro7 is the german equivalent of FOX, axing shows left and right.
TSCC, for example, lasted only 3 or 4 episodes.
They also cancelled Dr. Who after season two, not even bothering to order dubbing of the following seasons

They're also coproducing Fringe afaik.

Just so you know who we're dealing with here.

I never could decide if I liked the show or merely tolerated it. I think - though I'm so ambivalent that it's hard to tell - that it really depended a lot on the episode, because some were, to use Deckerd's admirable modifier, "woeful," though some weren't. Maybe now I'll get a chance to finally make up my mind...

I'm pleased it's coming back. Season three had a few gaping holes in logic and plot I'm hoping can be fixed. I enjoyed Primeval, but season three wasn't as good as the first two (but still worth watching). Hopefully they'll have put some real thought into how they're going to tie it all together and explain some of the holes in the show's, er, mythology.

Plus I like the Invisibats. More of them on our TV can't be a bad thing.

Here's some news on the upcoming (2) series, as well as some titbits on the (possible) movie and US spin off.

I'd rather see a Jurassic Park TV show - not rampaging dinos every week, but based on the interesting notion of trying to run a lucrative and dangerous business like a live dino zoo.

They could spin it off from the first movie (since the others sucked, they should be ignored). You'd think the place would be shut down after several people got killed but it's in some small, corrupt Central American nation and all it takes is for the right palms to be greased. Despite or perhaps even because of the notoriety, the park is a bigger money maker than ever, rendering it untouchable.

There is really no way a live dino zoo would be shut down permanently. It would simply be too popular and after all, people do idiotically dangerous and expensive things for recreation all the time, so taking the chance of being eaten by a T Rex would hardly be a deterrant.
