Prime Spock directive

Would Prime Spock, if the movie makers had allowed the character to continue give information to assist his new reality such as how to destroy the planet killer and save the USS Intrepid, the existence of the Guardian of forever, warnings on the Borg, Cardassian duplicity and Dominion. Or do you think he would have his own temporal prime directive and say nothing?
What do you think he should do?

"As you know I have given to vow never to reveal anything that could alter your destiny."

And then he immediately warns them about Khan:lol:

Like in ST:ID, he probably would have declined to give any specific information out of concern for "altering their destiny," but given some vague and ominous warning that was absolutely no help at all.

Spock Prime warns the crew about Khan because they asked for his help.

He wouldn't start giving out information on his own, but if he's asked for advice, he'll give it.

I think the temporal prime directive transcends space, time, even franchise....and genre. It's like the number one rule of any time travel story.

I can't imagine he didn't meld with NuSpock, secure in the knowledge that he could trust 'himself'.

As I've always worded it "I have sworn a solemn vow never to tell you about the future. But since you're asking, I'll make an exception, just this once."

It seems obvious to me that they didn't meld. If they had, Kelvin Spock wouldn't have had to look up Prime Spock to ask him about Khan.

Surely there is a difference between interfering with the natural progression of one's life and warning people about the Doomsday Weapon, V'Ger, The Whale Probe, etc...

Some things will be different because of the time change. Natural events or cosmic disasters might still be on the way.

It's like going back in time and stopping 9/11 vs. going back in time and stopping your friend from hooking up with that, un, inappropriate person.

"I have sworn a solemn vow never to tell you about the future. But since you're asking, here's this week's lottery numbers."

Well, there was nothing at the end of STID or in BEYOND that indicated it happened. What leads you to believe they melded, or even met again, after STID?
Nothing, apart from it would seem likely that they would seek each other out, or at least stay in touch. And Spock Prime was pretty much alone first. Helping him settle and adjust would make sense.

Spock Prime had to have said something to Starfleet about what's out there on it's way. How else would Section 31 been able to already have Khan and his people already in stasis at the beginning of STID?

Spock Prime had nothing to do with it, according to the comics supervised directly by Orci.

Our very own @Greg Cox wrote a novel called The Hazard of Concealing about Spock's forbidden future knowledge, set for release in summer 2010. Sadly, it was cancelled at the last minute and remains unreleased. Here's the synopsis:

The events of the recent movie have left one important loose end: the elder Spock from the 24th century. His knowledge of both technology and future events makes him one of the most important strategic assets in the galaxy. Starfleet Command wants Ambassador Spock to rejoin Starfleet and share that information with them, but Spock is reluctant to interfere with the unfolding of the new timeline. Will he be able to escape a sinister plan wrought by the enemies of the Federation, or will their quest to exploit Spock’s wisdom succeed, with disastrous consequences?

It would have been a cool read!

Khan was found due to the increased patrols of distant sectors of Federation space following Vulcan's destruction, according to Khan in ID.
