Primal/Paleo diets and lifestyle?

I've been researching the Primal and Paleo lifestyle websites for about a week now, and I'm considering trying this. I've been trying to limit my processed food intake since early summer (with varying degrees of success), but when I'm serious about it, I feel great, and my clothes are looser, although the scale says I've lost about 8 pounds.

I suck at getting my ass to the gym, and this calls for more natural movement, most of which I can probably do at home and around my neighborhood.

I'm also reading the book Wheat Belly, which addresses the history or wheat and it's modern uses, and how human modification of it over the last 50 or so years has created changes which have not been fully researched. The author hypothesises that it's partly responsible for obesity epidemic. Whether it's true or not, it certainly makes me less inclined to eat processed food.

I did a bit of light research on this a while back, and I definitely found it interesting. I'm in decent enough shape, so I don't think I'm going to go all out or anything, but it did a good job convincing me to try and limit my wheat intake and try and get more of my energy from veggies.

I've gone on and off this regime for some time.

The tough part for me is nuts don't do well with my digestion so I'm still looking for things to fill in the mix.

In the end, I think it's best that I at least think more about what I'm eating and notice how it makes me feel. (Really feel, not ice cream = happy feel) Then let that guide my diet.
