"Prey" trilogy

I just bought the "Prey" triology and looking at the "Almighty Reading Chart" I see that I should first read "Takedown".
But looking at it again implies I also need to read "Absent Enemies", "Armagedon's Takedown" and "Sight Unseen".
Is this correct or can I skip some?

I don't think any of those are really necessary in order to follow the events of the Prey trilogy. I think Takedown was referenced, and maybe "Absent Enemies," but neither of them is connected to Prey. However, if you haven't read The Fall books, you may be confused by a couple of changes that came out of the events of that miniseries.

Never did quite figure our why the series was called The Fall.

IIRC, the real-world reason was that the editor and authors just kept talking to each other about the big crossover they were going to do for "the fall," i.e. the autumn of 2013, and it just stuck. In-story, I assume it's at least partly in reference to the assassination of a key character.

It came out and was predominantly set in the latter end of the year, although "The Autumn" would have been a great name, Americans don't call that season Autumn, but infact the fall, because all the leaves fall down!

As for reading all those titles before Prey, I wouldn't worry, JJM does a fine job of seamlessly inserting references (and in some places explanations) to the more appropriate background information.
