"We already lost one officer." Not sure how you get Number One out of that. I'd be pissed if they brought her back after 55 years, just to have that be the way she goes out. Presumably she'll be the one who's in command of the Enterprise while Pike is on Discovery.

except she was spotted walking around in the background of a BTS video wearing a skirt version of the disco uniform indicating she sticks around long enough to transfer to discovery. unless she gets a wardrobe/post change and an untimely death in the premiere, it's not her.

It may take awhile for them to travel to the place where the jet-pod scenes take place.
Plenty of time for her to be seen in a Discovery uniform before expiring.

I honestly like that.
Feels good that a single life is suddenly valuable again in the Disco-verse. After people didn't even so much as shrugg their shoulders after their comrades (like the security officer) were dying in season 1.

It's essentially only the trailer scenes (spinning through the asteroid) and dialouge ("you got him, right ladies?"). You don't see how it ends. The only "spoiler" was already mentioned in this thread.

That being said: No need to watch this nugget now, if the whole plate is available in only a few hours.
