Um... you might want to watch a bit more than "a few" episodes of Lost to make a judgment. Until you do, I can't take your opinion seriously, just like I can't take anyone's judgment of a show (especially a heavily serialized series like Lost) based on "a few episodes".As for those saying Lost beats DS9, I totaly disagree. I've watched a few episodes of Lost and all I saw was banal babbling. Never has the Sheliak quotation about human babbling been more apt than as it applies to the show Lost.
Quite. While the jury will be out on the ultimate quality of Lost until the end of this season, it's a very complex, intricately plotted show with (generally) compelling characters and a fascinating mythology. It's also not a show you can pick and chose episodes from and make a judgment on. It really does have to be watched as one continuous work. It'd be like me watching "Tears of the Prophets," "The Die Is Cast," and "Waltz," and then complaining that DS9 makes no sense.
