Predators....<SPOILERS!>

Well I just saw the movie on DVD and thought it was pretty entertianing.

The funniest scenes had to be with Walter Goggins, the convict. Like the scene when everyone had guns and he had to pull out a shiv, hahahaha. He then said "ahh fu#%, come on man, somebody give me a gun!" hahaha and then he pointed to the mexican drug guy who had two mp5's and said "you got two guns man, come on!" hahahahahaha

I guess they changed some things up a bit with the folk lore. I didn't know there were two kinds of predators. I thought the predators would come and reward the remaining humans by taking them home. I didn't like lauwerence fishburn's character too much. I thought they absolutely wasted him. I mean he just sorta went crazy wimpy at the end, haha.

But my biggest gripe? They didn't do the classic ending where they show each of the characters by themselves!

What did you all think?

After my friends and I saw it, we agreed the funniest thing was when Goggins was talkin' about what he'd do when he got back to Earth.

"It's five o'clock!" became a runnin' joke for us.

^The one thing lacking in Predators in comparison to Predator, is the lack of quoatable lines...that's about the only one, and you can't really use it in polite company

I loved his "Your ass is awesome!" line to Isabelle. And I thought it was great when he pounced on that Predator and started stabbing it repeatedly.

I quite liked all the characters in the movie; I think the makers did a really good job creating them and getting the right actors. Everyone involved did it well.

I am kind of curious as to which type of Predators dumped them on the hunting planet, the Black Super Preds or the Classic Preds? And why exactly are they abducting them from Earth in the first place, when they're perfectly capable of hunting prey on Earth itself? But I didn't let that bother me too much, I still enjoyed it immensely.

There have been occasions when I've contemplated writing a Trek/Predator crossover fan fic, but it always seems a bit redundant, considering the Trekverse already has the Hirogen, who bear a great similarity to the Preds.

Ha, the Predators are way more badass than the Hirogeen.

Ya can, as long as ya don't actually explain the context of it.

Plus Predators stay the same height...unlike the incredible shrinking Hirogen!

Ah, but some Preds are bigger than others. Just watch the latest movie. And why do people reckon the Preds are more badass than the Hirogen?
