Potential superhero shows for CW since Grayson's dropped?

Ok. so the Grayson's has been dropped so what should the CW and WB do in terms of getting a new superheor show to the network? Persoanlly I think they'll do one more season of Smallville given this development which i fine by me. That said, I want to see a new show too. So, who would work?

Also, the Justice Leauge idea seems to eb put to rest and they obviously aren't going for many of the big ones because of potential movies.

I personally think Zatanna would be a perfect series fit for The CW as it could get the interest of people like us as well as the female demo they covet if doen right.

I don't see too many other possibilities for them given what they have decided is off limits and such.

I have wondered about a high school team up, similar to The Fantastic Four, but set in high school, and they are made up of the science nerd (Mr Fantastic), the cheerleader (The Invisible Woman), the school bully (the Thing) & the quarterback (the Flash, for budget reasons)

basically its about 4 kids who might not normally hang out together, discover/get superpowers, and have to find a way to work together, to save the town (think FridayNightLights meets Heroes)

that is all very speculative at the moment.

I'd rather Reaper worked out at midseason and became a pair with Supernatural. If not, I'd prefer the idea Eric Kripke proposed. There've been "hunters" of the supernatural since time began in the Supernatural universe. He wanted to do a western version set around the time of Samuel Colt, circa 184os or 1850s. I'm not a big superhero fan per se.

I've always thought a Phantom Stranger series would be an interesting idea, perhaps for one of the cable channels. The show could alternate between Twilight Zone-esque, stand-alone morality plays with the Stranger effectively taking the Rod Serling role (the character was handled this way a lot, most notably in the Saga of the Swamp Thing back-up stories in the 80s), and more traditional storytelling with the Stranger taking a larger role, as with the classic Len Wein/Jim Aparo run recently reprinted in the Showcase editions.

Not that I would expect it to happen, but I would personally love to see a series based on Vertigo's "Sandman Mystery Theater". It would be a great mystery show with some heroics (not a lot) and a touch of the supernatural. The time setting would also be fascinating to me, but such a show would be a difficult one to sell methinks.

A teenage Bruce Wayne (whose parents are still alive) has a habit of saving people and not wanting to take credit for it. He saves Talia al Ghul in a car accident and she's eternally grateful. However, their fathers Thomas Wayne and Ra's al Ghul don't like each other and Ra's also has a thing for Martha Wayne.

Bruce has two close friends, Harvey Dent and Selina Kyle. Selina has a thing for Bruce but he's too stupid to notice her. He's all hot and heavy over his next door neighbor Vicki Vale, who is absolutely perfect and adored by all and can never do any wrong in anyone's eyes despite her knack for automobile accidents, who later on will also catch Talia's eye and affection.

Anyway, people seem to have a habit of either being knocked unconscious or having amnesia whenever Bruce goes into hero mode. And he'll be spending a lot of time battle the son or daughter of Arkham Asylum inmate of the week. And Talia must find out what his secret is!!!!

I sugested some time ago, when the Graysons was first discussed on the BBS that you could do a Nightwing based series, with an older Dick Grayson, estranged from Batman/ Bruce Wayne and fighting crime in another city. I still think it could be done reasonably well, without intruding on the Nolan Batmovies.

When Adam starts at university, he thinks he is on the fast track to the good life, but when his rich parents are killed, and he learns that the family business is worth nothing, he has to leave his expensive university, and his expensive lodgings, forcing him to take lodgings with the D.O.G. (ugly-girl sorority), and spend the next 3 years of his university life as a young woman.

The series focuses on his struggles to adapt to his new life, those of the girls around him, including one who is hiding a secret of her own, and charts his friendship with a young man who also cross dresses.
