but the magazine does include these images of the enterprise-A under construction by double negative:

this gives a better look at the nacelle pylons which were changed between hargreaves' concept art and the finished starship. and i think it’s the first time i’ve seen the actual digital asset outside the film itself.

The more I see of theKelvin-A, the less I like her.... It's probably my least favourite take on the original connie, after the TOS one, the movie refit, the JJprise and the Discoprise - which I ALL like or love - this is the single one I don't like.

At least it's size is consistent (and not a weird mish-mash like on the JJprise). But it's waaaay to big for an exploraion vessel. If such a giant ship would suddenly appear in your orbit, you'd think less "first contact", and more about "Independence Day".

I dunno.... In those constructions shots, the first angle is very nice. The second one, a bit clunky, even taking into account that the ship is ofcourse not completed. I think I do prefer the Beyond version of the Kelvin-universe Connie more. As for all of them, like you said..... Probably the TMP Refit the most, with, dare I say it..... The Disco-version in second place.

It certainly looks odd in profile, but for most angles the Beyond-1701 looks beautiful. Those scenes where she flies into the nebula...

I don't believe these are official. They look to be the work of Tobias Richter, who also made unofficial renders of the Kelvin and her kitbashed brethren.

Long gone? Important movie assets (Enterprise CG studio models) are saved and backed up. I know for a fact the original CG studio models of the 1701 and 1701-A still exist. I know because...well, reasons...
