Congratulations on making your way to the RIGHT smart phone choice! Enjoy the various features such as BBM, Brickbreaker, and, of course, 3G internet.
.I don't think Blackberry's are worth the extra money over a regular smartphone.
So, I'm not clear on how this whole thing.... works and how I am charged. Like, my phone I noticed this evening told me I had Facebook messages. So I'm wondering if I'm charged for this connection? Is it an "always on" connection? Can it just be on when I'm trying to surf? How does new technology work?!

If your Blackberry is WiFi capable, it should be using your wireless home network while in range (assuming you have a wifi network and have configured your Blackberry to use it) If you are not at home it will use the cell phone data plan that you signed up for.
My question is more of what that plan entails. Without checking I'm not sure, exactly, what my data plan is.

Trekker has a BlackBerry.
He has only one copy.
But he has a plan.![]()

We're not that good.![]()
Well, I mean on my limits or what-not. It's not like I've got a nice long form telling me on what I can or cannot do.

Like I mentioned earlier. If you are sharing your parents internet plan, then your best bet is to check with them. Who is your provider, and what kind of Blackberry do you have?
Oh, and because I'm a big nerd I downloaded the sound of the CTU phone and made it my ringtone.

Fun little phone got it because it was time to upgrade and thought I needed to get with it and get a smartphone as texting on a numerical keypad is like sticking your balls in a metal drawer.
