Post Your Dreams Thread

My turn to be naughty in a dream last night. I found myself taking a bath with a housemaid in a large country home some time around the turn of the last century. As with any dream involving nudity of any sort, the nature of the dream changed when insects began dropping from god ceiling.
Naturally, we couldn’t stay in the bath, and a trail of insects led us down to the scullery and an open exhumed coffin had been left on the table.
I didn’t want to look inside but felt I had to. There was a grey emaciated corpse laying in the casket, it’s eyes were open, and moving, searching the room. He looked like he wanted to speak.
Then the police arrived. They ignored the maid and me, and began talking to the corpse. Me and the maid went back to bathroom but that’s when the alarm woke me.

Honestly, @Butters, your dreams are nearly as disjointed as mine! There's almost never any continuity between "scenes" in my dreams, though. Not the same settings, people, thoughts.

It's odd when my dreams aren't really erotic in some form. Usually involving one of my exes, but I never even had "relations" with some of them in reality.

I also generally find myself extremely self-conscious in my dreams. Not lucid, but I'm almost always embarrassed within my dreams. :(

I was in darkness, and the rest of the world was too. There were people talking in hushed tones but no one could see each other. There was a silver arrow flying through the air for a moment, illuminating people and the landscape as it passed overhead. Then it was gone. It wasn't a very long dream.

It was a group of people and I was being teased by a member of this board and I finally them off and stomped out of Walmart shoving a bunch of people out of my way and causing alarm with the employees who even called security on me in the mall parking lot but they didn't get there before I drove off.

I was in some kind of post-apocalyptic urban area which was in perpetual night. It looked like a cheap genre show from the nineties or early naughties such as "Birds of Prey." The infrastructure was in disarray and there was some kind of tyrannical martial law in place. Also, dead people had been brought back to life mysteriously. I was walking down the street and ran into an old friend who started talking about how his now-alive again grandmother had to get her own place because he lived in her old apartment and had gotten rid of all her stuff when she died before. Then he changed to more serious subject matter. In hushed, reverent tones, he said he knows about the company I work for, and that he had told everybody he knows that we could rebuild everything and save the world. I was wondering exactly how that was supposed to work. I don't remember much else from the dream.

Last night, my family and me flipped in to a parallel universe in which everything was the same, but boring.

Everything was either black and white, or pale washed out colours.

Dr Seuss books were black line drawings on white paper. Cars were driving around in undercoat. Buses had no markings. Nothing was branded, clothes were drab. People didn’t smile. Food was bland and unseasoned.

We tried to keep our heads down until we could flip back, and we did eventually, but we seemed to have brought something back. A fly, that looked out of phase. It couldn’t be swatted.

It was a bit like the mirror universe, but boring.

I dreamt last week that I lived in a big house with my family. It wasn't a mansion, but it was huge and comfortable. The structure had one main building with two wings on both sides so it was sort of U-shaped. There were several refrigerators throughout the house. I remember taking a carton of milk from a fridge, only to realize later that I had to return it because my parents needed it for their use. So I had to walk across long corridors to return it, thinking what a hassle it was.

^ I hate those tedious type dreams.

Last night I had a very depressing dream. From age 3 to 13 I had asthma very bad and was hospitalized about 50 times with asthma problems or pneumonia.
I don't remember the whole dream but I was in the hospital with doctors sticking tubes and IVs in me and not being able to breathe. When they left the room I didn't feel any better but they left the monitor showing me the amount of oxygen in my blood. I just kept watching as the number kept getting lower and lower.

I had a Good Place dream.

I don’t remember a lot of details, but my real life friends and I realized we were actually in the Bad Place and tried to escape. We reasoned that the room we saw in orientation but told not to go into under any circumstances was a portal to the Good Place and tried to get there.

I aws asked to be a presenter on Top Gear and I had to explain that I didn't know much about cars at all. Yet they accepted me and I happily took the job.

I had a car dream recently too. This morning I dreamed there was a car i needed to fix. When I started to work on it I realized it was a golf cart that needed work and I didn't know anything about golf carts (not that I can fix a modern car anyway, but.. wtf.. dreams). I woke up and for some reason I needed to finish that dream so managed to go back to sleep for awhile and I dreamed I did fix the car though by that time it was a golf cart.

This morning I dreamed I was at work, and one of my coworkers was passing out bags of candy. I couldn't remember who exactly, but I got a bag of Nestle Eggs chocolates, which are usually sold by stores before Easter. The Eggs themselves were bigger than usual and had fancy foil wrappings.

Other people in the office were comparing what they got. I remember seeing my office crush, which was the first time I had seen him in my dreams. :luvlove:

I had a lovely dream in a shipyard. A very large spacecraft was being made in a drydock--it used to be a LNG carrier

The other night, I dreamed I was in my late grandmother's room in another country. The room was an aviary of sorts, although there were no visible birds or cages to be seen at first. When I called out the name of a bird, it would mysteriously come out of hiding, sit atop my grandma's bed for a while, and fly back to where it came from.

I said "Toucan" and out came the long-beaked tropical bird. I called out a duck and an American bald eagle, and one came after another.

I've entered the "instantly forgetting my dreams as soon as I wake up" stage
Must be old age or something.
