Not your screen background, but your workspace. What's on your desk's surface?

I like your rainbow keyboard. I have one of those, too!

Woohoo!

I love lights and blinky things and colors (as I'd posted in the "Confession" thread I posted:

https://www.trekbbs.com/threads/confession-time.297668/

)

Nice and clean desk you have there. Mine is not normally as clean as I'm presenting here, but I just got done rearranging my cables and such, so I'm starting fresh again. It won't be long until it's covered in junk of all sorts.

Not to mention that just out of the camera's view on both sides is all sorts of clutter that would drive most people mad.

Mine's a small desk, so it has to stay nice and neat or everything falls off. :D

Horrible cheap wooden replica labelled "Pamir". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pamir_(ship)
I once visited her sister ship, the Peking, in NYC. Vacationed in 2008 with my best friend since high school primarily to watch the Tigers play the Yankees before they tore down old Yankee Stadium. The day started in Brooklyn, walked over the Brooklyn Bridge, visited the ship, drank a pint at a pub across the street, walked back across the Bridge, found a subway (not easy), took it to Williamsburg, ran like the dickens and just caught the last tour of the day at the Brooklyn Brewery. Ordered two pints, took the very short brewery tour, thank God it was over because I needed more beer. Standing there with two more pints in both hands, a group of young guys and girls wanted me and my friend to join them in a game of beer pong, but I declined. One of the guys almost had me when he said, "Where else are you gonna find beautiful young women cheering you to drink beer?" Ah, good memories.

I am not sure how far the analog synths have come,, in the 90’s my analog system. Poly6-1 by korg was awesome but the supernova II I use nowadays is totally different. Every knob turn is able to be recorded and recreated exactly. So they are ready to release a virtual synthesizer corresponding to the supernova II in a direct connection to the hardware,.. I have repeatedly reprogrammed the my novation supernova II since I bought it in 2000.. also updated the system os,,via a midi file from novation...

I am trying to get get funding for a fix and upgrade to my system here <Link removed by moderator>. But I would imagine that I am going to be the only one adding funds.. but. That’s ok,..the link has video of me making experiments in music mmm. Here

Anyway the repetition in sound is easier in digital systems I think,..imo

yeah so it is all good =--= I was actually able to -- well a friend gave me 222 dollars for this work and -- I took the synth to the repair place that was recommended for the repairs it was broke more then fixed.. by the repair guy with no warranty . I added about 50-100 additional dollars to this amount and well at least they were able to fix the two keys on the music keyboard that were not working.. --- but the whole thing needed a lot of work.. 00 and I had been appling workarounds to solve these problems --- so now I have different workarounds but it is much more different .. there is a constant changing feed from one of the sliders that--- overrides my options programming -- to mention the guy at the repair place erased 2 years of dailly reprogramming of the system.. and saved to the system into more what I wanted then what I did not want the factory presets were used and overwriting all my work -- I should of saved these things but did not try that -- ---

the two keys that were broken now play--- spending almost 300 dollars and a long ride.to and from= 00 I will not ever go back there.-

--- anyway dag=---=
I have stopped playing the synth like everyday as I have become disheartened by the results. --- ;( so I use more computer based music tools and such.. -- the life of a synth is about 10 year I should be happy with it being about 20 years of performances =-=

I was actually searching for a place to post my desktop image.. but found these posts here === and just like caught up with it.-- but

Just to let you know, we do have a thread dedicated to computer desktops:

The new Post Your Desktop thread

This thread is actually reference to that one, which is why it has "[Actual]" in the title! :)

(I know that the last post in that one is *just* over a year ago, but it's close enough that I'm fine if people want to pick that one back up again. :) )

Added the laptop to my actual desktop.. Put the mixer on a table with the korg. The setup has a myriad of wires. My desktop background is changing a lot less these days.. Hopefully this isn't too deep a resurrection??
