I once attended a John Tesh concert (don't laugh) and he signed my ticket stub.

Really, don't laugh. He's not just the ET guy. He's actually a great musician and puts on a hell of a show.

And he also played a Klingon on TNG. How can you not love that?

One of my brothers played professional table football (or foosball, for you Yanks), got the German national championship, as well as several world championships.

One of my uncles was a professional baseball player.

He was a minor leaguer in the Phillies organization. Never got called up - single-A was the highest he ever got - but he had a pretty good ERA.

When I worked at a video store I rented movies out several times to Brian Johnson of AC/DC and his wife. He never said much but I remember his wife was really nice.

I went to high school with James Mason. But in 1984. By then he was younger, and no longer British or white. My gym teacher was Shirley Jones, whose age hadn't changed.....unlike everything else.

I went to high school with:

- 3 members of 311
- The cousin of Exene Cervenka (lead singer of X)
- (I'm not actually 100% sure it's her but it is extremely likely) Somebody who was in many different episodes of L&O. She was on the 'mothership' (the original series) as a police officer; on Criminal Intent, as a mousy scientist who was duped into committing crimes on a serial killer's behalf; and two different episodes of SVU (once as a rape victim who would not testify against her attacker because she was a Quaker, and another ep where she was the wife of a rape/murder victim).
