Possibility of a Moonbase animation

Seems a bit pricey to be anything other then an animated recon to me.

If true it bodes well for Crusade and Menace.

There's been some scuttlebutt going around that they're doing Underwater Menace and Moonbase, probably as a box set in region 2, but not Crusade (at least for now).

I'm reminded of the fan video someone posted on YouTube a few years ago that spliced The Moonbase with 2001: A Space Odyssey leading up to Matt Smith's arrival. The fan(s) made a very good animated realization of the classic Cybermen and Cybermats.

Apparently it was the weightless/blown-out-of-an-airlock effects in the filmed scenes for Katarina's death. Which we can't see, unfortunately. But they obviously impressed Kubrick...
