Possessor is the second film directed by Brandon Cronenberg, the son of the acclaimed director David Cronenberg, and judging by the initial reactions, it's looking like he's following in his father's footsteps.
It follows a female assassin, played by Mandy's Andrea Riseborough, who performs hits by taking over other people's bodies and using them to kill her target. The movie focuses on a hit which sees her take over the mind of a man, played by Christopher Abbott, in order to kill a businessman played by Sean Bean. From the trailer it looks like she eventually starts to lose control of Abbott's character's body.
