Oh this is interesting. I just had a go on Audiosurf and tried to play Still Alive. I invite anyone else who has it installed to have a go and see what happens.![]()

^I'm a little irritated since I wasn't logged in when I first did it (and have forgotten my password) so I didn't hear what she said after the track ended because the damned tutorial thing played over it reminding me to log in. Grrr.
.
You mean like Audiosurf and World of Goo which are better than a lot the full priced titles available?Yeeeaaaaaah... no.I'm not buying games just for the privilege to buy another game.Besides, they're indie games and all indie games are crap. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going back to building a village in Minecraft.

The reason no one talks about them is because nobody knows about them or dismisses them simply because they are indie games, probably more of the latter than the former as evidenced by the responses I've been getting. Fortunately companies like Valve are working hard to change that thanks to their heavy efforts to promote and support indie developers. If indie games were any good, somebody would have started a thread in this forum to discuss one of them, but they're all about big games like Halo, WoW and Mass Effect. Nobody started a thread about some game made by a lone Swedish guy that wears a funky hat.

And what exactly do you call that massive thread dedicated to Minecraft? You know, the one you started?
Anyway, it looks like people playing 'The Wonderful End of the Word' had done their part. Looks like they shaved a good few hours from the countdown. Mind you, at this rate we only may get it a day or so early...which was probably the intent from the get-go.

Looks that way..Well this is interesting. I just had a look at the achievements for Portal 2 and...
I noticed one of them is called "Ship Overboard" which you apparantly get when you "Discover the missing experiment" and the icon is of a ship's anchor. So...looks like the Borealis is making an appearance. Neat!
That was my thought too.All of a sudden, the potatoes make sense...
