I am pretty sure nearly any machine race, hell bent on conquering the universe, from any sci-fi show you care to name, would be immune to the Ponys songs of peace & friendship.

For whats its worth I wouldnt trust Superman to get the job done, with a message of peace and friendship he is probaly already a Brony.

Transformers vs Ponies

For the first time im not sure who I want to see crushed more.

On the one hand Ponies, I think that speaks for itself, the avatars are getting out of hand, and its a very strange sub-culture.

On the other hand that transformers movie really was shit.

So on balance if they cant both die in the war, I am going to say Ponies should win the war, but only because 1) it gets rid of Transformers and 2) the war will have destory the Ponies peace and love message, breaking the spell they have over the Bronies.

There is no "war" between Transformers and ponies that I'm aware of.

And how is "pony avatars getting out of hand" and "it's a strange subculture" reasons to want to see the bronies gone? I'm pretty sure somebody said exactly the same thing about Star Trek when the first Star Wars forum was created. Without being specific, we all remember what happened the last few times a civilization didn't like a "strange subculture". (Hint: It begins with "said subculture" and ends with "getting the shit killed out of it").

To address your third point, the bronies' "peace and love message" will not be destroyed because most bronies aren't in the habit of starting incredible flame wars, especially not when the "opposing" franchise is owned by the same company.

Finally, I must say, why is a message about peace, friendship and tolerance something you want to see destroyed? Because it's being offered by a TV show for children instead of somebody like Ghandi or a politician running for office?

come on, I thought this thread was meant to be light hearted, it being about Ponies and all. There was some posts further back in this thread about Ponies & Transformers, im just having a bit of fun.

but Star Trek is an easy fit for its demographic, unlike My Little Pony.

As for the avatars, can you really say that J.Allens avatar is not a little annonying, to say nothing of some posts encouraging the use of Doctor Who avatars to star a war with the Pony avatars.

as I said I was just having fun musings based on the fact I hated the Transformers movie, and I wasnt sure which group I would back if it came to it.
