Ponies canter off ~ it's Meerkat time...

screw your meerkats, Phoenix Wright girls FTW

Yeah ~ lets see how far you get with that :p

Oh I wouldn't quarrel with a goose ~ I'd get someone else to do it. But I mean what do they do exactly?

I know of no goose-related deaths but they can be very cantankerous - they bite and they can break limbs if they smack you with their wings. They are often used as guard animals - they set up a great noise if disturbed. We never harrassed grandpa's geese. just the poor sweet hapless turkeys. much nicer creatures.

Oh I want a guard goose!

Turkeys however, I have no great fondness for. Apart from on Christmas day

I live close by a river where quite a few geese and swans nest, and it's not unusual to see a goose or swan take chase after someone who inadvertently wandered too close to the nests when eggs or babies are about. I once turned a corner and had a father goose spread his wings and hiss at me, and I RAN. This was one of those huge white geese, and the bugger chased after me for longer than I expected him to. I stayed clear of that section of riverside for weeks afterwards.

 A player at the golf course, where I reluctantly work, had to bypass a hole because a swan's wife was bathing with her cygnets in the pond near. And the cob came at the chap with wings unfurled. I think Morris actually did leave the ball where it lay and fleed also :guffaw: Feel no shame :)

Ok it's allowed because, firsts it's a most excellent photo and it also begs the question ~ are they;

a) just about to fight
b) shaking hooves on a deal
c) ready to dance a quadrille?

wrong thread Brony.

K'Ehleyr yes it is sad to give your cat a facebook page, but yeah replying to it is just as if not more sad.

And he has 74 friends! check him out 'sirsqueak ofmoorecourt' if you're a fb fan of course :)

Lighten up, filly. :)
lets not get into that again.

Oh go on ~ it's Friday night and I'm bored *pours a drink and lights a ciggie*

I bet! Gramps only tried the geese one year - after a biting incident he stuck with friendlier critters!

wondered about the elegant cat on fb who is friends w/ some of my fb friends. I''l have to "trot" over to make a friend request!
