At the moment I'm quite happy with old avatar, but did think about making a badger avatar. Badgers rule.
Apparently a meerkat clan has about 20 members, although a really large extended family can have up to 50. So there might be limited opportunity to join. Competition could be intense. You'd also need an alpha pair - I'm assuming K'Ehleyr is alpha female, but which lucky meerkat gets to lounge beside her on the meerkat throne?
As for myself, I've got a vole in my avatar at present. I have an unfortunate feeling that meerkats eat voles. I propose a deal; in exchange for amnesty in the burrow, I'll point you to other rodents more succulant than myself. It's the noble thing to do.
