^See poll.

EDIT: I get this when I try to vote or see poll results. Is it because I haven't reached 50 posts yet?
"CaptainPipcard, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

  1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
  2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I get the same message, I'm over 50 posts. I guess there's something wrong with the way the poll is set up - other polls have worked OK.

I have asked a Moderator to help. I do not understand the problem, but here at TrekBBS help is just a request away.

I think I see what's happened. There has been an occasional quirk with polls since we changed over to vBulletin: each poll has a unique identification number, and sometimes that number will match a previous poll number assigned by the old UBB.threads software. It doesn't happen all the time, because most of the old threads containing polls have already been purged from the system.

The reason that you are all getting "you do not have permission to access" messages is that the "view poll results" link goes to a 2005 thread in the Briefing Room -- which, of course, you guys can't see. It's not something I have any way of editing, however, so the best thing to do is to do the poll over in a new thread, and I can just lock this one.

vBulletin is pretty nifty, overall, but because we ported the whole database over from the old software, little artifacts like this are going to crop up occasionally.

You're welcome.

I see that Captain Pipcard has the new thread and poll up here, and everything seems to be working, so I'll be closing this one.
