I don't think she has wrinkles but I haven't watched post-Season 5 in a while. I honestly think she's more attractive than Seven of Nine but then my tastes often differ from the norm.

Everyone one has wrinkles. :)

Wang is going to have some serious creases from smiling too much that even by now he probably already looks a little like Nicholson in Batman, or Pac-Man.

I was thinking the other day that Kate is not Kathryn.

Kate is an actress. She has to do a lot of work, the usual things, plucking, moistening, tweeking, painting, bleaching, sucking, botoxing, styling, dying, not to mention the professionals doing her over in the chair before shooting with stage-makeup so she doesn't turn into a ghost under those hot lights. It's a major piece of work for a 21st, sorry 20th century women to look like a "natural beauty". Nothing to be ashamed of, it's just how the game is played.

Why should I bother mentioning the obvious?

Because Kathryn, a busy professional, disinterested in the opposite sex, working a deadly serious job with 24/7 responsibilities, would not and does not do any of that crap. She just rolls out of bed in the morning, probably not even bothering to put a comb through her hair, further even emergency pending not even brushing her teeth if the red alert klaxxon is wailing but she still seems to look just like "Kate" after hours and and hours of BEAUTY treatment and therapy.

How dreadfully convenient. ;)

All this time, have we been mistaking 24th century complexion for mid 90s make up? It's certainly possible if sexist chemists were making some minor touchupings to girl dna before the Eugenics wars that the offspring and descendants of the supersoilders which assimilated back into the general population of the planet after the war naturally had all those colours just free forming on their faces to appear beautiful without all the hard work? However? What about earlier make up from the 20th century which seemed to paint the faces of the women on Kirk and Picards Enterprises? Season one Yar and Crusher look like circus clowns by today's standards.

You'd have to think that now and then there would be a gender error whence some lad would end up with the girls make up gene leaving him socially awkward his entire life having to explain again and again why his eye lids are azure?

That would be my neighbor, the makeup artist.

And he's straight, too. :p

But of course. It's known as 'Fantasy' - and I love it!! ;) Especially when she gets really dishevelled in an attack - and inbetween racing to sickbay to see who's dead and negotiating with the enemies she manages to once again achieve the equivalent several hours worth of beauty treatments.

I want that!!

That's how I like my fiction - achieving the impossible that we all really desire. None of that 'reality' crap for me.

I think people are making major assumptions. "Kes (if she'd live longer and and our kids too)" for example. And why not do that, since we're dreaming anyway?

For me it's between Kes and Belanna. I know they're very different, but they're very attractive in their own ways.

Seven is beautiful of course, and a great character, but I just never saw her as someone I'd have wanted to be with, if I'd been on Voyager.

Why is everybody anti-occampan? Those short years would be very happy ones.

And as a windower Seven still might be availble, therebye maximizing one's total lifetime relational bliss.

Vulcan ambassadors have no hangups marrying human females why should humans in regards to occampans?

Sareks new Missus seen in TNG was obviously an emergency replacement human. Any human would do. If it looked a little like the last one.
