Well. Civilization it is than. I always had a strange of taste for favourite episodes... Why Civilization? Because it reminded me somehow of TOS, and I liked the action, and solutions. I could eassily imagine a similar eveniment could happen at our world with aliens... And I liked the kissing scene. In a sick way my favourite episode from Voyager was The Thaw (most of the people hated it) but as always it has remined me of TOS and also I loved the psihology reserch from the writers about fear... nicely done... I will not talk about my fav. DS9, TNG or TOS episodes...

Civilisation reminded me of a TOS episode too. It had that feel to it. I liked it a lot but it's not my favourite (which I've already mentioned)

Gotta admit, I'm kinda surprised by "Carbon Creek"'s performance. What does it say about the show that so many people's favorite episode is the one that has the least to do with the characters we see every week?

Granted I've only seen 17 eps thus far (that's how far they've gone back here on Tarsus IV 
) but I've voted for "The Andorian Incident" 'cause I love the ol' Andorians. "Shadow of P'Jem" would be my second choice.
"Shuttlepod One" is a great character piece and "Fusion" saw some interesting Vulcan twists, even though I couldn't undertand the reference to mind-melding as being not practiced among ENT era Vulcans.

Strange New World for me. Very hard to describe why but the main reasons would be :
- stunning acting from trip/t'pol
- enterprise was still "new" & "fresh" which added to the experience
- nice ghost-story
- perfect example of what i'd like to do if i'd be in a space ship; visiting beautiful Minshara-class planets instead of fighting/changing things
- "...looking up the stars wondereing what our own sun would look like from this far away"
Civilisation would be my 2nd

When done right (as I think it was in Carbon Creek) it's just great storytelling.
Ok, "The Inner Light" unveiled a whole new dimension of the Picard character by creating the only non-Crusher credible love interest he ever had, and making him a father. It was all about the character.
"The City on the Edge of Forever" is Kirk's great tragic love story. The core of Roddenberry's concept of the character is a man cursed by his own sense of duty. TCOTEOF is the ultimate demonstration of that, Kirk allowing his true love to die for the greater good.
Now, "Carbon Creek" is a piece of pointless crap. It has nothing to do with the characters on the show. T'Pol tells the story in the third person. Her ancestor and associates are introduced into the story. Their misadventures are predictable and unexciting. And the ultimate resolution of the conflict is toothless. Ooo, she's still got the purse. Ooo! Who cares? If they're going to have a T'Pol story, let's make it about T'Pol!
I would have to say Regeneration. Fan boy land. 
I think my problem with "Carbon Creek" is that it just doesn't seem to fit in the Trek universe well. I felt that it was an entertaining episode, and if it were part of another series, I'd say it was very good. But as a Trek episode, I have to agree that it's pointless. From that standpoint, "A Night In Sickbay" is a better episode.
Favorite ENT episodes? Ahhh....so many....
1 Dear Doctor (Phlox and Cutler's chemistry...)
2 Stigma (Strong A and B stories, GREAT acting)
3 Broken Bow (neck and neck with DS9's pilot)
4 Carbon Creek (Vulcans become 3D)
5 Cogenitor (IDIC becomes painfull for Trip, et al.)

I chose "Cogenitor" because of the great performances all around, particularly Connor Trineer and Becky Wahlstrom. The story itself was very enjoyable, both the A-story with Trip as well as the lighter stuff with Archer and Drennik, and quite emotional. I've watched and re-watched no other episode so many times (5 so far), and that's an indication of a stellar episode. 
Interesting results. Similar, but somewhat different from the results at The Star Trek Poll . I suppose that is because the majority of people on this forum are die-hard Enterprise fans, whereas those voting on the big poll are both die-hard fans and casual viewers. Probably a few detractors as well.

"Minefield"
Best episode thus far. A smartly written use of the Romulans. Genuine character conflict and a resolution that's earned. Good action, actual suspense, and great performances from both Bakula and Keating. All the other characters are used well, even Mayweather. Definitely the best.
Anyways I voted for Fight or Flight. First episode I saw and it just captured the feel of what the show should be about.
Sorry for posting two times in a row(and adressing the same poster) but I totally, totally, totally agree with you about this episode. It nearly drives me mad when I see all the praise this episode gets. There is no point to it. I mean if it had something relatable or metaphor or moral that she was trying to teach Archer and Trip or the Vulcans did something very important in helping Earth's history even though it was a violation of whatever Vulcan's prime directive is.Posted by where'sSaavik?:

tjkrummer I agree as well. I think its pretty bad from almost every way storytelling and from Trek history. The idea of Vulcans in 1950's Earth was pretty exciting but that was pretty much the gist of it. Vulcans on 1950's Earth. This episode did not do anything. I wouldn't have even cared about the story not being about T'Pol had it been better crafted. Argh!
The same can be said of the entire series, so what's the difference?
Even granting that ENT is a crappy show, amongst the crap you'll find worthy episodes, "Minefield," "Cold Front," "Stigma," etc. When searching for the best amongst all that crap, it insults the worthy contenders, when the crappiest of the crap are wrongly elevated.
I always felt at home when the characters on Star Trek hung out together on the bridge. It felt comfortable.
The scenes on the bridge of "Enterprise" feel immensely awkward and claustrophobic to me. The further we get from the bridge, the more comfortable the scenes feel to me.
I enjoy the episodes where we get off the ship and spend time away from it.
I think "Carbon Creek" was the ultimate extension of that for me. It was away from the ship and away from the characters.
I even thought it had a cute story, too.
Nothing earth-shattering or deep, but cute nonetheless.
Maybe that just means that I shouldn't be watching this show at all if I need to get away from the ship and away from its regular characters to enjoy it. Who knows?
