POLL: Favorite Episode

I've admittedly not seen every episode (though I have seen a lot of them), but of the ones I've seen, my favorite is "Shuttlepod One." To me, that episode has a uniquely "Enterprise" feel. Trip's and Malcolm's plight has a real poignancy -- and real sense of danger -- to it which wouldn't be possible in one of the latter-day Treks, where space is more heavily populated and rescue would seem more imminent. And the characters are well-written and believably played, turning what might have otherwise been a stock "characters in danger" scenario into an interesting character ep. Nice.

Just in case I haven't already posted sometime in the recent past,it is STILL "Broken Bow."

:)

I picked "Expanse" for the simple reason that this episode had a lot stuff going on in it. I also picked it because I'm interested to see where the show is headed. I am hopeful that Enterprise will find its legs as we enter its third season. Here's hoping. :)

Gotta admit, I'm kinda surprised by "Carbon Creek"'s performance. What does it say about the show that so many people's favorite episode is the one that has the least to do with the characters we see every week?
I think it suggests that many viewers hunger for something truly fresh and original, which is something "Carbon Creek" delivered better than the majority of Enterprise episodes so far. But it's my second favorite. My vote for favorite goes to the wonderfully character-driven "Shuttlepod One".

And that's precisely why I enjoyed it.

Dead Stop was a masterpiece of writing and design. The Catwalk comes in a close second.

"Cold Front" (esp. for the music--effective unresolved dissonance during the closing segment when Daniels' quarters is sealed), and "Cease Fire." I'd love to know if R. D. McNeil directed that segment ("Cold Front") as is--very well done.

I voted for "First Flight". :)

It's funny; the episode in the lead now is "Cogenitor", which just happens to be the one episode I have not seen.

I hope to catch it this summer... :D

I thought it told us a something about T'Pol (in how her grandmother's story affected her and possibly her decisions to some degree) so it was worthy to her character at least. But it was a nice little tale, well told and had a great performance from the guy playing Mestral :)

hmmm..... personally, as much as i thought it was a cute episode (and had the biggest Trip/Tpol flirt-fest on the show thus far ;)) those were it's only really redeeming qualities IMO... it was too cliche for me i guess..... although i thought the guy who played teh vulcan plumber was funny....

but the guy who played mestral?? i thought he shoulda gone back to playing borg and nazis ;) (ok, so he wasn't THAT bad ;))

I voted Dead Stop eventually. There are a couple episodes, Singularity & Regeneration, that could have been favourites if I hadn't gone and missed them - have to wait until next screening

"Minefield"

One of the big reasons this is my favorite is that they didn't employ the reset button. In "Dead Stop", you saw the effects of the happenings in "Minefield".

I also liked the interaction between Archer and Keating during this episode. It was very well done.

It was a tough choice...I have several favorites...but I chose The Expanse.

I liked all of the sometimes-crazy action, the new potentially exciting story lines and the breath of fresh air this could bring to the often too dull series.

I voted for Desert Crossing because I felt it also gave a balanced view on what the current political situation is today.

Carbon Creek is number 2 on my list. It is just so cute!
