I'm a bit out of touch with Sci Fi. I have recently gotten back into it because of my kids, who are now becoming Star Trek fans. Could you please state where all the captains are from in your list, and maybe we can create a new poll that's more comprehsensive.

From the list I went for Sisco, Adama & Sheridan, although that might just be my 3 favourite shows...

Not on the list, Commander Makara, the eternal thorn in the side of Star Fleet. She may not be the universe's greatest strategist, but she certainly is persistent!

Well I think I've got enough input for reposting the Poll. Give me a few days, it's after 2:00am here now. I'm too tired to write up the list and post a poll. I'll try and get all the spellings right this time, and not exclude anyone, and also include more female, minority, and alien commanders. Who ever is the winner of the new Poll is going to be the commander of whichever war ship wins my other Poll that I have yet to create.
