I'd just like to remind folks that, while I know there are going to be political tangents to some subjects, this is not the place to bring political pissing contents or for political grandstanding.

In the interest of keeping peace in the forum, I would like to ask everyone to please remember that this is first and foremost a forum for discussions of science and technology, not politics. In an ideal world, it would be politically-neutral, but I know that's not possible. I promise that I am, however, endeavoring to be as politically-neutral as possible in how I approach these instances when they happen. My PM box is always open if anyone wishes to address this with me.

If you feel such a dire need to get fiery and political in your discussion, I'd like to refer you to The Neutral Zone for such discussions. If you don't have access to TNZ, you can request it here.

Thank you in advance.

ETA: Just to clarify: I don't care which side of the political spectrum a poster is on. It doesn't matter if I even agree with you. If you want to be politically antagonistic? This isn't the place for it. Please take it elsewhere.

If anyone has a question on where the line is, you're welcome to PM me.

OK, then I advise you to check my response to your response in my Fidel Castro ethanol thread.

This was in no way directed at you, your post merely brought up an issue that I've been trying to figure out a way to address for a while.

Okay, I can boil the political end of things down to this:

Please check your political agendas at the door.

Thank you.
