The new Pokemon game Ultra Sun and Moon is coming out next month, I'm not too happy with this generation, though I hope it introduces new alolan forms of old pokemons. Guess that's the only thing that I'm looking forward to.

Just want a new eevee evolution as well, but that's not going to happen, I don't think it'll even happen in the next generation or at all.

Anyone excited about the game or not? Any thoughts about it?

We have a couple of Nintendo fans around here, I'm sure they'll drop by any minute

Sun and Moon, and any variant were the two games I skipped.

And I've played almost every other. Gamefreak is getting lazy and greedy.

Yea I agree with you on that. I like them for what they're worth, but they're not as good as previous entries. I'm just glad that they haven't gone the DLC route like some games have. That would bug me big time.

I'm looking forward to the true next generation game with the Switch. I just hope it's something that warrants the attention. A system on par or greater than the PS3; a system that can handle GTA V.

The last games were on 3DS. Quite a massive step up, gotta say.
I just hope they don't squander the potential.

So am I. Even though it'll be quite sometime before I get one. I'd have to get a new tv just to use it.

Definitely. I hope that they don't either. I'd love to see a game that would bring back the treasure hunting that Diamond and Pearl had. I know it was a gimmick for the games but I really miss the more in depth mini games. Maybe have it be a bit more open world.

Imagine what the battles could look like or even just the world itself. It might even be third person like an open world game.

They'd be insane to blow it right out of the gate.

Yea that could be pretty neat. What if it's similar to what we got in the Colosseum games?

Graphics are a bit dated, but I still like the 3d for what it is. I remember seeing the frame of the Pokemon once (it was a Quagsire), but it wasn't a big deal. I can only imagine what an updated version of that would look like (given how much better it is now).

Definitely. It could be very promising.

Just hoping that they don't go with the multiple versions. $59.99 a pop is a bit much as it is. It would be well over $100 for both.

Did you hear about the "Pokken" game for Switch?

You said you didn't have one, but it's essentially the first Street Fighter kind of fighting game with Pokemon. I personally didn't like it, but it didn't look bad. I think if they combine that with the core games, it could be exciting.

And yeah, very similar to the Colosseum games of yore.

Yep. And I played the Wii U version. It's ok. But I'm not as big of a fan of it as I am to the Colosseum games. That said, I like the graphics. So much improved from the older games.

I think it could be interesting though if they incorporated the kind of battling they had there, in regular Pokemon battles.

I for one am disappointed by the lack of additional monsters beyond the 151 and their alternate forms. Megas are cool, but how about getting a Slowking or something?
