The new Man of Steel trailer is really good (I think those "You are not alone" TV spots are even better), but the Trek one got me right in the feels ("The ship is dead, sir! She's gone!"). And I love how Abrams and co. managed to save the Dreadnought's reveal until now.

For some reason, the Man of Steel trailers don't do much for me. I'm definitely going to see it in the theater and give it a chance, but I wasn't a fan of the Watchmen. Snyder appears to have given MoS a similar artistic style.

The past few days have been very emotional with all that has been going on in Boston.

Perhaps a distraction of a light nature is in order..so why not vote for the Trek trailer?

It is just a distraction from real life but is harmless enough...

I did like the Man of Steel trailer, and I'm sure I'll enjoy the film, but I was a little surprised how traditional it looked. They change Superman's costume, Krypton's no longer an ice planet, but otherwise it looks like super-buisness as usual.

I like the new MoS trailer, but there is a sameness about the Superman origin story...you know certain things will happen. STID is much more exciting to me.

I'll definitely give MoS a shot in the theatre, but as far the trailers (and general movie anticipation and excitement goes), it's STID by a country mile!

Is the planet shown without ice before the star begins expanding... because otherwise I think that is a logical change to the dated idea of the planet remaining icy right up to the time the star envelopes Krypton. That is hot!

I actually love Star Trek and Superman very equally. I wouldn't knoiw how to vote both trailers were excellent!
