Please Finish and Release "Torment of Destiny"

I realize New Voyages is no more, and is now an official tour site. But, can we get "Torment of Destiny's" post finished and release this episode in tribute to Richard Hatch? If resources are an issue (given the disbanding of New Voyages) there are many of us here that could help get it done. I have wanted to see this since trailer was released and since I new Richard (though, not as well as some here) I really wish I could see it. I'm sure the rest of us in the forum would as well.

R.I.P. Richard Hatch, you will live forever though your work that has entertained so many of us!

I too want to see Richard Hatch play a role in his child hood favorite sci fi TV show. He had soo much to give to fans. A talent taken too soon. Some time in the years to come, others will realize what we missed out on.
RIP :wah: :angel::angel:

I agree, it would be a great tribute but for an answer you'll need to contact James Cawley direct

I sure hope they'll finish the show Richard Hatch guest starred in it would be a real shame if it's not finished someday.

maybe Greg or Mr. Cawley has some information on this?

Nope. I got nothin.

I recall that our Kisckstarter obligates us to completing and releasing the episode--and James has indicated in passing that he really does indeed want to see it released. Other than a general desire to get it done, I don't know what concrete steps, if any, are being taken to get it done. With the passing of Richard, a new level of importance enters the picture.

James--any thoughts or news?

Greg, does the Kickstarter require you to release only one or all three productions that filming was finished for? Or does the museum contract with CBS/Paramount forbid their release?

Personally, I'd love to see "Change of Command". I always thought Kurt Carley was really great as Pike. As a producer and editor, I'd offer my services in a heartbeat to complete any of the NVs.

Greg any updates on post production efforts?
No updates.

If James is working on the postproduction of any episodes, he's doing it sub rosa. He hasn't made me privy to any efforts.

For what it's worth, "Change of Command" did get "finished" and I've seen it in its entirety. If it's ultimately not released, it's because it just isn't very good compared to our later works, *not* because it was never really finished.
