I've heard of some of the playmates items having increased value due to limited availability or unique situations like manufacturing errors (Ex, Torres figure with a Janeway card, promotional first contact "Tri-fold Borg" figure, international Seven of Nine figure in blue catsuit not released in US, 1701 figures), but have not heard much of foot # having any significant impact on value.

Update from Nacelle Company - they have listened to feedback that the first wave of figures was too obscure and are going to announce something early next year that will make fans happy apparently.

I read elsewhere the feedback will lead to more core characters coming out in wave 2. But I think that was always the plan anyways? To mix in core members with more obscure figure?

The original pitch was heavy on lesser-merchandised figures, and including some of the main casts in different guises - like the first announced wave had Archer and Sulu.

The speculation is that they'll change the balance to include more main cast, but we'll have to wait for the announcement.

The Borg thing that came with Hugh and other drones is the wall panel Geordi installed for him in the brig, and you can even kinda connect his hand to it

Hiya is doing what playmates should have done out of the gate.

Between Hiya and Nacelle, good things are on the horizon for Trek Merch. Then there is EXO-6, which I would love to get, but sadly there is only so much space to go around (pun intended)

Now we just need Diamond Select to get the license back to produce Trek Ships so we can get the Reliant and Enterprise C that they were working on towards the end. You can see the Reliant Prototype on the Netflix doc "Toys that made us" - she looked gorgeous.

I'm still kicking myself that I never bought a gold Enterprise C on Ebay. It was just under $100.

Yeah releasing that gold Enterprise-C was such a disappointing tease! I think that was the last thing that produced.

I never understood why the Reliant never came out either. They were working on both for years. I guess they couldn't make them profitable since there weren't as many variants to sell.

A battle damaged Reliant with the nacelle blown off would have been really cool.

I am so glad I got the golden Enterprise-C when I got the chance, at my first Trek convention. By then it was already clear Diamond Select was gone.

I'd keep an eye on ebay and other sites. Saw one mint gold Ent C go for $225 a few weeks ago. Looks like the XL Eaglemoss Ent C is a cheaper alternative at $289
