The FC Borg is modeled after a concept drawing (just like the spacesuit figure, which is why the helmet is not quite right). It's also a screen-used prop replica, since these were used to make the pile of Borg pieces in Scorpion

That Dukat doll is a really good likeness for the time. Shame the regular “Commander Gul Dukat” figure was obviously originally supposed to be a generic Cardiassian!

As great as the head of the big one is (I saw for the first time that Dukat has blue eyes!) there is one important thing that's missing: The cobra neck parts
But I like the armor, and it has the golden logo, so he's a Legate here

I don't recall owning any of the Playmates toys, though I was certainly aware of them s a kid. I especially wanted the "lights and sound" Enterprise-D, but it was too expensive for my Mom to afford. I think I saw one years later, at a convention...but the price had gone up so much I decided I'd rather get some autographs.

Anyone pre-order any of those Hiya 1/18 Trek figures? I’m curious as to what the hold up is. The website lists them as still in pre-order and available in Q1 ‘24. We are almost to Q3.

I don't preorder. Been waiting to see, but Hiya's site is on the blacklist of my antivirus so methinks they got hacked or some of their infrastructure got fucked up.

thats strange. I didn’t have any issues connecting to their site. Probably a good thing I haven’t tried ordering directly from them though.

Hmm...The Tom figure could be repurposed into a custom Saurian.
There are three babies included with that figure? Cool. I might get it at a convention just for them. In the non-canon SNW 5 story "On the Rocks", they're even given names - B'Elanna, Harry and Tuvok (plus a fourth one, Neelix, who died).

Probably not! Some of them didn't get stamped, and sometimes you find one with two left feet. I remember finding one figure that had the legs attached backwards!

I never had any 'Star Trek' toys from that company despite being a fan, but I had plenty of 'Ninja Turtle' ones. I didn't even know that had them until way after the fact.
