got bored and went down an eBay rabbit hole on the DST figures. I knew they had gotten high priced since the line ended. But damn, not that expensive. 79 bucks for Scotty. 150+ for Kira. Woof.
I mean, I know there are a lot of exclusives and such and you can find some decent prices but damn.

Were you looking at any of mine? I just put a whole bunch of them up there. Ezri so far has gotten bid up to $51. It does get crazy.

During the pandemic I bought a lot that had Sisko, Jadzia, O’Brien and Bashir for 100 bucks delivered and it just surprised me to see Dax now going for upwards of 60 by herself.
Buying lots of figures is absolutely the best way to get them. Otherwise you're going to end up paying out the nose.
Yeah I filled a few spaces with characters I wanted but didn't have and they were all around the $10-17 mark. This was only a year or two ago. Glad I did it when I did.
FWIW if anyone has been holding out on getting the newer Trek figures from playmates, Target has finally put them on clearance.
Walked by the collectible section and the peg had them listed at 7.99 a piece down from 12.99. They had a bunch of Picard, Spock and Riker.

Pre COVID I think Art Asylum's Trip Tucker (regular uniform) was going for $30-40. I wasn't into collecting Trek merch so I passed. Then around COVID or later on he jumped to $80 or more
Seven of 9 was about $30 and can go for $50+. I bit the bullet and decided to get it before it went higher. And with Trek's merch record I don't a good variety of figures for a good while.

After several months where they had no Trek stuff at the flea market, today was simply glorious!
Right at the start there's a sci-fi/fantasy stand, but only with 1 Trek figure that I already have... but the guy said hey it's a Borg you can build a collective! And sold it to me for 4
Then he told me to go to a specific toy stand at the other end of the flea market cause he saw some Trek figures in the many huge boxes they had. Found many that I wanted for 5 each, and a pack of 4 for 10! Asked if they have a bulk discount cause I'd buy 9 figures, he said... then one is free!
I was so happy that I went back to the first guy to thank him again for sending me there and show him what I found there, and guess what, he says he remembered after I had left that he had a bag of little ships somewhere, and he said they're free cause I'm clearly a fan! I'm not sure what the 3 bigger ones are, but I guess they're AMT/ERTL adversary set ships, though the Klingon BoP doesn't quite look like in pics I find online. Many of the MMs I had already, but 6 of them were new for me, and I got doubles so I can set them up at home and at work

Then just as it ended and people were leaving, I saw a giant Dukat with all choking hazards still sealed on a shelf that they already started to wrap up, so I pulled him out and asked, and they shrugged and said 10, cause they were glad to get rid of a big thing while packing up
Finally at literally the last stand, among a wild mix of other stuff, there was this magazine from 78 with a poster in it for 4
All in all I got 33 trek things for 1.60 each!

I got that magazine on a family road trip back in the day. That poster graced my walls for the next eight years.
