Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I noticed something in the brand new Playmates site.
There's a range of figures called "Galaxy Series", that features the cast wearing uniforms without the delta pattern fabric!
What does this mean?
Is it because they're smaller, cheaper figures... or is there a new set of costumes we previously never heard about?

Thanks, NCC-1967, but I have a bad feeling about Playmates ever since their half-size TNG tricorder. Perhaps their action figures are better, but I mean really! Maybe Playmates' nuEnt model/toy will be OK, but I gotta say that I'm more looking forward to AA/DST's oldTrek TOS tricorder (or maybe I'll buy both if they're decent... Playmates, I have my eye on you - don't disappoint!).

What I cant belive is that they ''had'' to tell people that the bases wern't badges! GAWD! how STOOOOOOOPID are we geting?

Wow, the toys actually look very similar to the original actors. I'm glad they picked actors that resembled the original crew closely... this is going to be one interesting film!

Tricorder - I like. Very TOS movie era
Communicator - I like, it's a good update. Any thing they did was going to look like a cellphone anyway, so I think they did good in that regard.
