Playing your own music in Star Trek Online

I downloaded The Best of Star Trek (James Horner) off iTunes and I was thinking how good it would be as the soundtrack in Star Trek Online. Is there anyway I can play it in game instead of the default music? Keeping all the other sound effects?

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question! :p

yeah, you have to set the music player ingame to itunes (audio options) and then you can simply use the player to listen to the music. theplayer is in the dropdown menu where the c-store is btw.

Ok i'll try that later... does it play actually in game though or separately?! I want it to be like part of the game if that makes sense...?

yeah it does make sense but in that case i think you're screwed. STO verifies the client files when it starts do if you try to replace the game music it will block you and not start until the "error" is corrected.

I have all the first ten movies soundtracks and used to play them in the background when I played. When that 'Khan' battle music kicks in... so sweet. Also awesome when 'I hate you' from STIV starts playing!
